  • CINDY CAI & JINNY

We had like 30 minutes to shoot at the first site, the antique shop, 'cause the shop owner was about to leave; that was fun.

Thanks goes to Jinny for assisting and Divya for hair styling & make-up!

  • AND YOU SAY CHI-CITY

Right after Christmas, went to Chicago for one night with some relatives. Not my first time and not exactly my best trip to Chicago (bad weather, could've spent our time better...) but not too bad.

We stayed at the Westin hotel, went to Navy Pier, Millenium Park, and the Art Institute of Chicago.

And I also included some photos from a photoshoot with my dad's friend's daughter from Chicago, which I thought would be appropriate for this post. (:

About Me

Photoartist:
Since March 18, 2006

It's ironic how I got into photography. The story goes: I was at a party where I brought my point & shoot digital camera. I let one of my friends go around shooting with it, and he accidentally drop the camera on its lens while not paying attention.

So I decided that I was going to buy a new camera. While browsing I found myself looking at DSLR cameras for the first time, and ended up getting one for myself (and spent a majority of Christmas money I had been saving since I was a young child).

My father happened to be a photographer back in the day, and he became my photography mentor. I ended up getting hooked on photography, and it's become a strong passion of mine.

My first DSLR was a Nikon D50. I currently shoot with a Nikon D80.

My equipment:
-Nikon D80
-Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6
-Nikon 50mm f/1.8
-Nikon SB-800 Speedlight
-Adobe Photoshop CS2
-Soul & Sweat
