LINDSEY & JESSICA -- Round II (Music)

Concept inspired by this photo of Paris Hilton by David LaChapelle:

This was my first photoshoot experimenting with two strobes, one with an umbrella, one without. It’s a lot harder than I thought but a lot more to experiment with, so it should be fun.

Thank you!
My cousins are homeschooled.. they are complete freaks... like they aren't from this planet. They scare me..
I love number 2, 3, 5 and 6. 2 and 3 are my favs though.
What type of camera do you use?
Aah, you have to take pictures of me sometime! : )
best photos to date i think (of people, hah)! lol. creative and good lighting.
@verisimilitudex2 - Oh wow, I didn't see this until now, but thanks! haha wow
That's awesome! Are you going on vacation or something? They were only here a week, but we get to go to Japan for 2 1/2 weeks. I think they can only stay because they're in school right now. I love the exchange students. : )
Choosing lenses on a tight budget is soooo difficult lol =/
Haha there are a LOT of things I'm debating over... A prime lens is one of them. Go cheap? Canon's 50/1.8 is GREAT for being so cheap. Or go with something more expensive (50/1.4 or 85/1.8 = ~$350) that will probably last me a lifetime (better build, better durability, better IQ, better bokeh, better focus, basically the perfect prime.) If I get the more expensive prime, then I can't get a zoom lens for now. My thinking is that even if I get a zoom lens now, it'd be a really cheap one ($200-300), which I will inevitably want to upgrade in a couple years. Why buy something that I'm gonna dump if I can get something that will last...for about the same price?
I dunno, still something that I definitely haven't made up my mind about.
Oh, I guess from what I've been seeing from your 50/1.8 shots.... The Nikon version is far superior to the Canon one.
You're brilliant.
I love these.
